Position: McCook Community College is accepting applications for a full-time maintenance electrical technician. Responsibilities include but are not limited to performing daily building maintenance and electrical maintenance. The ideal applicant will be experienced in commercial electrical installations and will be well rounded in general construction practices. Candidate must be team oriented and will work with other technicians and custodial staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

The preferred Candidate will have an associate degree in electrical with five years documented work experience in an electrical related field with commercial installations. A State of Nebraska Journeyman electrical license is preferred but an apprentice with experience will be considered. Basic computer skills, good communications skills and valid driver’s license required. Other related maintenance experience in plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry is preferred but not required. Candidate should be able and willing to learn additional technical skills including expanding their electrical skills to the next level.
