MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

• To provide electrical and maintenance work to maintain induction heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems, robotics and automated equipment.

• Performs basic mechanical and electrical repairs on equipment, including 240V-480V, singe, and 3 phase systems.
• Diagnoses and repairs all machinery related to manufacturing, including but not limited, auxiliary equipment, robots, fabrication, and assembly machines.
• Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatuses such as transformers and robots.
• Understands mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principals.
• Performs and/or assists with weekly, monthly, and annual preventative maintenance tasks and inspections.
• Understands and applies Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and follows all safety guidelines.
• Performs routine inspections on equipment to determine when and what kind of maintenance may be needed, and accurately maintains all maintenance documents and records.
• Performs other duties or responsibilities, as assigned.

• Minimum of five (5) years of related experience as a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician.
• High school diploma or GED. Mechanical, electrical or PLC certificates preferred.
• Self-starter that can work in an independent manner with little or no supervision.
• Working knowledge of all phases of commercial electrical work, and AC/DC drives.
• Ability to read and understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and shop drawings.
• Ability to provide own tools, bend wire and conduit, and program PLC’s and more complex wiring.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and some weekends and on-call hours.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to communicate and work with all levels of management and employees.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends/developments in Quality, Safety, and Environmental practices through regular formal training
