Maintenance Millwright - 2nd or 3rd shift
Must have Journeyman Card.
General Description:
Initiate, support and improve all aspects of Key Metrics: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery and Continuous Improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Must be recognized as a Millwright Journeyman by the International UAW.
- Fabricate, install, troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of complex automation and mechanical equipment, maintenance carpentry work.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, changeover, and make general repairs to industrial equipment.
- Perform assigned Preventive Maintenance tasks.
- Reconditioning/rebuilding production equipment and machinery.
- Development, installation and repair of power transmission systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, ductwork, machine structure, guarding, indexers, cam systems, valves, pulleys, gearboxes, belts, conveyor components, couplings, shafts & bearings, installation and repair of mechanical automation components of all types.
- Rigging and moving of equipment.
- Able to read and interpret detailed blueprints.
Requirements:
- Millwright Journeyman card.
- High School diploma or equivalent GED.
- Lift material up to 60#, with the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Stretching, lifting, climbing, twisting, turning, standing, pulling, pushing, reaching, bending.
- Work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, possible temperature extremes, dirt, solvents, paper dust, etc.
- Maintain satisfactory record of attendance and conduct.
- Available to work any shift and overtime as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.39 - $29.73 per hour
