The Heritage at Lowman Retirement Community is a faith-based non-profit organization looking for compassionate, caring professionals who dedicate themselves to providing quality care and promoting the highest in customer service. Located in the Midlands of South Carolina near the shores of beautiful Lake Murray, the Heritage at Lowman is a growing, robust community of active senior adults.
We are currently recruiting for a full time Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment to include painting, cleaning mechanical equipment, changing filters, changing light bulbs, etc.
- Performs maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc. especially during icy conditions
- Set up and take down chairs and tables for special functions held at the HOME
- Transport items when needed
- Attends mandatory in-service/workshops and performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or other management personnel
- Must maintain all privacy rules and regulations pertaining to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Also must complete an annual mandatory HIPAA training session
- Maintains a cooperative and cohesive relationship with staff as well as in other areas.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- On-the-job training is acceptable
- Working knowledge of regulations governing Skilled Nursing
- Previous Maintenance experience is preferred
- Computer skills
