Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Director, Parking Services, develops, manages, maintains, and ingrains best practices throughout the organization related to the specific aspects of the enforcement program, event management, and the curbside management program.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Develops and manages the parking rules and regulations, the appeals process, and manages the enforcement team.
  • Develops and manages the curbside management program architecture, including the inventory of user (customer) groups, modes (cars, delivery vehicles, university fleet, bicycles, e-scooters, etc.), enforcement tools (LPR, Mobile LPR, RFID), and citation management. Areas within curb management include mobility, ADA access, vendor access/parking, transportation network companies, bicycle infrastructure, deliveries, signage, and technology.
  • Identifies and implements technology, methods to inventory and monitor curb and high demand spaces across campus.
  • Develops and manages the event management program, including guidelines and processes to support University and Healthcare events (validations, space reservations).
  • Responsible for communication of curbside management program with appropriate stakeholders. Proficient in and provide user support for proprietary parking management systems (ex. T2 Flex, Scannet), license plate recognition equipment and software, event management software, and citation equipment and software.
  • Recommends process improvements for daily operating procedures. Ensures the integrity and accuracy of operational information and reporting. Analyzes data and reports, identifies and summarizes trends.
  • Provides management to the Curbside Management team. Formulates best practice policies for areas of responsibilities.
  • Develops and administers procedures necessary to implement policies; provides overall direction to ensure the delivery and efficient and effective processes.
  • Ensures productivity standards are maintained and met. Hires, supervises, evaluates, and trains staff. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and five years of broad-based experience in parking operations, technology, customer service/hospitality, including two years in a management or supervisory capacity, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Positions within this classification may require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • CAPP or CPP Certification
NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
