Manages all aspects of information technology support services and the telehealth program (telemedicine, direct-to-consumer and remote patient monitoring) including but not limited to working with organizations, medical staff, program staff, programming and system implementation, hardware/software requirements, system/regional/provider/user priorities, and workflow. Responsible for planning, designing, controlling, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the performance and status of all resources (personnel, budget, hardware, software, bandwidth, etc.) of information technology support services and the telehealth program.

FLSA: EXEMPT

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develops and directs telehealth priorities for the organization and region in concert with and at the direction of administrative leadership.

Reviews and establishes program policies, procedures and plans.

Develops and directs the collection, analysis, maintenance and reporting of statistical data to identify, diagnose, and correct problems/factors affecting performance, to track utilization, and other needs.

Designs methods and procedures for efficiency, productivity, and control of operations and coordinates day-to-day operations.

Provides planning, consultation and advisory services on telehealth development and issues to determine feasibility and applicability to organizational needs.

Maintains effective communication and awareness by consulting with organizations, physicians, physician offices, affiliates, and department directors and/or representatives to discuss telehealth needs and directions.

Reviews and establishes job responsibilities and authority, objectives, and standards of performance for subordinates; coordinates on-the-job training and orientation; responsible for morale, attitude, and retention of employees.

Prepare the departmental annual budget and with on-going review and action assure that budgeted objectives are achieved and that cost, and expense objectives are met.

Represent the organization on appropriate telehealth-related activity and/or planning groups on a regional and national level in collaboration and at the direction of leadership.

Supervise the administration of telehealth-related grant funds. Serve on any and all grant fund related committees (federal, regional, state, and local).

Be knowledgeable on public policy issues and the possible impact to telehealth services and actively advocate and build the awareness for telehealth at local, state, and federal governmental levels. in collaboration and at the direction of leadership.

Balances limited resources with conflicting priorities.

Oversees the coordination of scheduling for all related facilities for all intra-network, and inter-network conferences.

Oversees the coordination efforts with departments on the availability of programs to be broadcast via telehealth program.

Approves the purchase, license, or other acquisition of telehealth-related systems, software, hardware and services for the organization in order to encourage cohesion and compatibility.

Defines, implements, and manages information technology end user support processes and procedures.

Ensures timely response, documentation, and resolution of inbound support issues.

Ensures the correct escalation of issues from 1st line to 2nd line support team members

Prioritizes customer service; measures and improves client satisfaction

Oversees the full life cycle of end point devices (procurement, deployment, maintenance, replacement)

Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required at the direction of the administrative leadership.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in Business, Management, or Technology required.

MBA, MHA or MS highly preferred
