At Associated Materials, we manufacture exterior building products that protects and enhances homes.

Working in our manufacturing plants, our Production Associates are vital to the success of our business. Your role will be to ensure our products maintain the high level of quality our customers expect. At Associated Materials, we believe excellent results begin with you!

What should you know about our Production positions?

• 1st shift hours: 5:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday - Thursday 10 hour shifts/4 days
• 2nd shift hours: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM, Monday- Thursday 10 hour shifts/4 days
• You will be part of a dynamic work environment, building quality products and dealing with interesting issues and problems
• You will work in a ‘safety-first’ environment in which everyone is required to maintain our safety standards, without exception.
• Wages from $18.00 - $19.00/hour with a pay increase every 3 or 6 months during your first year
• A $1000 sign-on bonus, paid out over your first six months

What will you be doing?

Please know, we will train you on the job and equip you with the skills required for these responsibilities:

• Operate equipment and tools to cut, process, and assemble window components
• Use material handling equipment
• Pack and label finished goods
• Inspect windows and equipment and communicate any issues
• Keep a clean, well-maintained workspace and complete housekeeping in your area
• Maintain all safety standards
• Complete other job duties as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, and work overtime when needed
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Be dependable and on time with attendance
• Perform tasks at a good pace
• Take the initiative to raise and deal with issues that come up and make suggestions for improvements
• Be flexible and willing to learn, including cross-training and learning about new areas
• Work well with others on the team
