Job Purpose:

• Planned, organize, and manage the Manufacturing Engineering activity for plant operation providing engineering direction and support to plant production and other departments. The Manufacturing Engineer activities' major focus is directed at manufacturing systems, processes, standards, tooling, and new technology, all designed to attain maximum production efficiency, at high-quality standards in the most cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering or a General Engineering Degree. A minimum ofthree to five years of Manufacturing Engineering orotherrelated experience is generally required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate computer and computer software, including Microsoft Office products, SolidWorks, CAD, and MRP (Infor CSI).
• Ability to use department equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, power tools, ladder/scaffold, overhead crane, telephone, computer, fax machine, and copy machine.

Essential Functions

• Identifies and implements cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas.
• Implements new manufacturing processes and technology through lean and QRM strategies.
• Recommend and Design production fixtures and tooling.
• Establishes weld and wiring standards.
• Maintains proper documentation, including BOM, optimized for production.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
