Our Entry-Level Maintenance Technician is responsible for the timely completion of routine repairs, maintenance requests, and documentation of each repair/request.

Essential Job Functions (these are general guidelines; other duties may be assigned);

• Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments in a timely manner
• Assist with preventative maintenance
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery/equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
• Assemble, install, and/or repair wiring, electronic components, pipe systems, and/or machinery
• Perform general maintenance duties of our building such as painting or roof repairs
• Timely completion of routine repairs and maintenance requests
• Responsible for monitoring and maintaining any company owned tools
• Assist with creating preventive maintenance plans
• Responsible for filling out and keeping records of all repairs and/or requests
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to all learning’s
• Maintain a conscientious attitude, display initiative, a pleasant positive disposition, and work as a team-oriented participant
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent
• Minimum 1-year experience
• Trade school certificate(s) in electrical, plumbing, maintenance preferred (not required)
• Solid knowledge of general maintenance and repairs
• Must pass a drug test
• Ability to read and interpret documents and manuals
• Ability to understand basic calculations (such as Add/Subtract)
• Ability to understand basic computer skills (such as Word/Excel/Email)
• Ability to communicate well with other employees
• Valid Drivers License

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, walk, finger/handle/feel, climb, balance and kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently handling chemicals such as ammonia, nitrogen, paint waste, etc. We will provide appropriate personal protective equipment if applicable
• Plant environment can include extremes in temperature

Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm (Monday-Friday) *Potential weekend hours*

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Overtime
