Content Creator (Copy) + Social Media Expert
SUMMARY
We are looking for an engaging individual that enjoys connecting and communicating with others. The ideal candidate is someone with experience creating social media content (copy) and a keen eye for design. We are looking for our next new associate to create and manage content for all social media channels for our communities and corporate. This position will report to our Marketing Manager and work with our graphic designer to design content that promotes the brand of our communities and supports our marketing strategies. We will sometimes ask this person to assist with copywriting our corporate communications. We will look to this person to follow trends in lifestyle industries and bring fresh new ideas to the table. We are a collaborative group and want to build out our team with individuals that have unique perspectives.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
- Write clear, compelling copy for various social platforms with a distinct voice
- Grow our audiences and build brand awareness
- You are familiar with best practices for each major social media platform and have an understanding of how to execute optimized content based on the algorithm
- Work to create lifestyle and hyper-local content for our communities
- You will become familiar with each submarket and work with our onsite teams and regional marketing managers on creating hyperlocal content
- Willing and ability to host and present educational content for our teams to develop their understanding of social media best practices
TASKS
- Communicate with onsite teams to collect hyper local content
- Research industry-related and local market topics
- Manage our social media posting platform
- Submit monthly content in advance for review
- Conduct keyword research
- Engage in staying up to date on new releases from social media platforms
- Participate in special events for live content and meet with clients to present reports on performance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or related major
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Must possess basic graphic design and video editing capabilities and expert ability to communicate with a designer in order to achieve the desired deliverables
- Must have top-notch organizational skills to manage and maintain content calendars that are pre-planned for approval
- Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role
- High level of creativity, and demonstrated ability to generate concepts and ideas

REMOTE REQUIREMENTS
- Occasional in-person visits to San Antonio, TX Corporate office and/or visits to strategic markets with advance notice
- Participate in on-camera meetings in professional attire and workspace
- Work hours may be flexible but must accommodate the needs of the San Antonio, TX Corporate Office
