Essential Functions
- Lead in writing of collateral, customer communications, web pages, direct mail, and emails. Which will consist of research, recommendations, coordinating, and preparing all marketing activities associated with a new product deployment or significant extension of an existing product.
- Execute sales promotions/campaigns designed for retention and acquisition of customers that ensure the success of new or existing products. Provide excellent value for the customer and motivate sales force and advertising staff to succeed.
- Coordinate sales efforts and actively manage sales force activities to target market segments and achieve company revenue objectives. Assist with managing partner relationships.
- Review, secure approvals, and process all departmental billings and expenses including agency, media billings, and trade accounts. Keep track of finances including check requests, invoicing, and reporting.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the solution our products create for our customers and translate it into sales strategies and strategic account development. Be a champion of our brand.
- Provide regular, concise, value-added market intelligence to the entire company.
- Participate in planning and management of hosted and sponsored business events to ensure proper staffing, supplies, etc., as needed to maintain or improve the company’s public image.
- Team with the product development, sales, and service delivery and operations departments to ensure we maintain a consistent brand experience across customer touchpoints. Support and work with the product team to develop sales training.
- Act as the point of contact for events as needed. Negotiate and book event space, arrange food and beverage, order promotional items, supplies, and signage to ensure we meet brand expectations.
- Work cross-functionally with the product team to develop comprehensive plans that meet revenue targets and strategic company objectives.
- Work with sales to develop marketing qualified leads through demand generation efforts and the lead handoff process.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communication, advertising, marketing, journalism, business administration, or related field. Equivalent education, experience, and training may be substituted for the degree requirements plus two (2) years of sales or marketing experience in telecommunications or another highly technical field, High degree of proficiency with MS Office Suite products, to include: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Preferred: Marketing Automation, CRM, and Adobe. Demonstrated success in selling services in a highly competitive market environment.
