Job Description:

We are looking for passionate people with knowledge and understanding in various subjects that share our goal of helping our students to reach their full potential. Our ideal candidate is an experienced tutor and/or teacher who must be able to adapt to different learning styles.

As a successful tutor you will:

l Provide educational instructions to students in a non-classroom setting;

l Design and implement lesson plans at varying academic levels;

l Motivate and interact with the student during tutoring sessions, keeping the students engaged;

l Establish academic goals and milestones with students, continually evaluate and document students’ progress; and

l Communicate student needs to parents and our team, provide constructive feedback.

Qualifications:

l Previous tutoring experience required, teaching experience preferred, teaching credentials a plus;

l Excellent written and verbal communication skills, details oriented;

l Knowledge and understanding of the subject you will tutor, able to plan lessons and follow state curriculums;

l College grads, teachers, college students, and professionals welcomed;

l Physically located in the area described above, must have reliable transportation to and from the students’ homes

l Work well with flexible schedules

l Legally authorized to work in the US

l You must provide/undergo periodic criminal background checks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:
