Job description

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Mazak Lathe Programmer on 1st shift. Our 1st shift is Monday – Thursday 6 am to 430 pm. We make a variety of parts up to about 20LBS, mainly aerospace, home defense, and the mining industry. Experience in Mazatrol is a must.

The right candidate for this position will have 10 or more years of experience with the following:

• Ability to program Mazak Lathe Turning Center
• Ability to read, and edit Mazatrol Programs
• Ability to read blueprints, and program from them
• Ability to use hand tools such as micrometer and caliper
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to multitask and make decisions quickly
• Ability to make independent decisions based on knowledge and experience
• Ability to enforce policies and procedures

You should be proficient in:

• Blueprint Reading and understand the following, Tolerancing, GD&T, Section views, Weld symbols, Industry standards, Mil specs
• Quality Inspection Experience
• Have Strong Basic Math Skills
• Be A Forward Thinker That Looks for Improvements
