Accura HealthCare of Stanton, a 46-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) located in Stanton, IA, is seeking an MDS Coordinator - RN or LPN to join our team. If you are a detail-oriented, highly collaborative, patient nurse who enjoys working with numbers, come join us in working alongside our dedicated healthcare professionals! This position is a full-time clinical leadership position with an on-call rotation.

Sign-on Bonus: $7,500

Job Summary: The MDS (Minimum Data Set) Coordinator is required to be knowledgeable of applicable laws and/or licensing regulations for health care facilities. This includes compiling information, preparing statistical reports and data from health records, and personalizing assessments for use in evaluation of quality of care and utilization review for the purpose of clinical reimbursement. The MDS Coordinator confers with physicians, nurses, and other health personnel to ensure complete, current, and accurate medical records.

Qualifications:
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the applicable state, without restrictions, and/or ability to obtain state specific license.
  • Proficient with Point Click Care (PCC) preferred.
  • Ability to work on-call as needed.
  • Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
