As an integral part of the design and production process, the Mechanical Engineer is required to design, plan and execute the final product. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and have experience in several engineering software packages, including SolidWorks. Responsibilities:

• Apply mathematical and physical principles to design and build mechanical devices.
• Manage the design and construction of mechanical devices, such as maintaining a schedule and budget while making decisions to keep projects on track.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Present information to internal or external customers, such as in legal proceedings.
• Develop analysis, predictions, or plans based on research or technical expertise.
• Analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making.
• Be knowledgeable about state and federal laws regarding machinery or equipment.
• Manage staff responsible for producing a product or service.
• Quote and design steel fittings and equipment.
