We are a prominent, fast paced Plastic Surgery group located in New Jersey with muulitple locations including Edison, Marlboro, Warren and West Orange. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant. The ideal candidate should be able to multitask, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, must be able to assist with medical procedures including EKG's and bloodwork. Be available Monday through Friday, hours will vary. The candidate must have personal vehicle and be able to travel between offices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

* Assisting Surgeon with minor office procedures

* Provides clinical support to Surgeons for the post opertative patients

* Phlebotomy, EKG

* Prescriptions

* Prepare injections

* Answer patient questions

Additional duties include various administrative and clinical duties necessary to deliver quality patient care to ensure the smooth operation of the surgical practice.

Additional responsibilities will include maintaining and supporting our Internet and Social Media presence. Completion of medical charts, including speaking to the Patient’s about their surgery. Answering telephone inquiries and supporting the office staff.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of surgical experience. Proficiency with computers and in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Education Requirements:

Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program along with college credits.
