About Kingsland Pediatrics
We are a dynamic pediatric practice looking for an experienced medical assistant that is ready to join our practice as it reaches the next level! Kingsland Pediatrics is on a mission to provide exceptional pediatric care to both our clients body and mind. We are looking for two medical assistant who must be able to maintain part-time to full time hours for at least 12 consecutive months. All applicants must be able to work 8AM to 5PM Monday through Thursday as well as 8AM to 12pm on Fridays.
For the safety and health of our patients and staff, we will only consider applicants who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the time of applying.
Here are some tasks/skills our MAs perform daily (not exhaustive):
- Rooming patients
- Taking vitals
- Administering vaccinations
- Performing in-house tests (e.g. flu swabs)
- Working on patient charts
- Giving medications
Please note that the medical assistant role is clinical in nature. Medical assistants work hands-on with patients during their visits. This is not an administrative role.
Qualifications
- Experience with eClinicalWorks is REQUIRED
- GED is REQUIRED
- 2 years Pediatric experience is REQUIRED
- Diploma from an accredited program for Medical Assistants REQUIRED
- Front desk experience (Scheduling/insurance verifications) is a PLUS
- MA Certification PERFERRED
- Undergraduate degree is PERFERRED
- Fluency in Spanish is PERFERRED.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
