Medical Assistant for Front office needed for an outpatient clinic in Cumming, GA ( Exit 13 off of GA 400 )

Medical assistant should be:

• Dependable
• Works well as a part of team.
• Willing to learn new skills every day.
• Insurance verification and benefit eligibility skills an advantage
• Very pleasant front desk personality

Skills and Training:

• Possess excellent computer skills and able to use EHR. (Ours is eClinicalWorks)
• Injection administration and venipuncture skills an advantage
• Possesses knowledge of both front office and back office an advantage
• A fresh graduate can be considered.

Job description:

• Check in the patient in EMR system, verify Insurance eligibility, prepare the patient for visit, directing patient to examination room, take and record vital signs.
• Making appointments and collecting payments
• Checking Faxes, Scanning Documents
• Check patients in and out
• Triage patients
• Draw blood
• Can administer vaccines, EKG
• Help provider with procedures
• Other miscellaneous medical office work

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
