Experienced Medical Assistant/ Phlebotomist to join our team in our Primary Care. This role will support our healthcare facility located on Forest Hill Blvd. It will be from
Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM

Job Description:
As a
Medical Assistant, you will be a part of the Clinical Care Team and engage our patients to develop lifelong well-being and health. The Medical Assistant assists by performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a Physician.
Job Functions:
- Hands-on professional Phlebotomy experience. Draws blood and collects specimens.
- Performs routine screening tests, such as height and weight measurements and blood pressure checks.
- Ensure all related reports, labs, and test results in patient medical files. Information is filled out and available in the patient's medical records. Records patient medical history keeping patient information confidential.
- Prepares exam room, equipment, and supplies needed prior/during patient examination.
- Prepares patient for consultation, taking/documenting vital signs (temp, BP, HR, RR), etc.
- Schedule appointments for patients
- Proficient in EMR process
- Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls!
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Skills in answering the telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner and using a multi-line phone system. Tactfulness/soft spoken
- Knowledge in the fields of medicine, anatomy and physiology
- Demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others. Willing to adapt to change.
- Confident positive manner and appearance
Additional Information
We will require full COVID vaccination for this job as we are a healthcare company committed to putting health and safety first for our members, patients, associates, and the communities we serve. This job must be in the office and requires close personal interaction with patients. You will not be able to social distance.
If progressed to offer, you will be required to provide proof of full vaccination where allowed by law.

Experience:
- Certified Medical Assistant: 1- year (Required)
- Phlebotomy: 1- year (Required)
- Direct patient care: 1 year experience (Required)
