Nierman Practice Management is looking for a qualified, detail-oriented and driven team player to join us as our Medical Billing Coordintor. This is a full time position working remotely from your home office.
As a Medical Billing Coordinator you will be an integral part of our team. As an overview, you will…
- Act as a liaison between insurance companies and our internal team on resolving billing and reimbursement activity.
- Follow up on Appeals.
- Resolve “failed” claims and denials, obtaining the denial reason.
- Follow up on Prior Auth/Gap Requests.
- Follow up on submission of medical records and/or additional documentation needed for pending claims.
- Create and submit Verifications.
- Process and follow trough on Authorizations.
- Follow up on all Status Checks.
- And other related tasks within your skillset.
To be successful in this role, you need to be…
- Experienced in the medical billing field. This experience is required, and training specific to our processes will be provided.
- Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
- Resourceful and able use all the information and tools available to you to find a solution.
- Comfortable working independently - we work as a team, but we trust our individuals to manage their own work.
- Professional - and you know how to remain professional under pressure.
