Healthcare billing company in Lakewood, NJ, seeking a full-time Insurance Collections Specialist who will be responsible to follow up on unpaid claims to ensure proper financial reimbursement from insurance companies.
Responsibilities Include:
- Candidate will track unpaid claims, denied claims, discrepancies and the like with various insurance companies.
- Following processes to set up resident’s claims with correct diagnosis codes and sending them out in a timely fashion to secure payment.
Qualifications:
- Interpersonal skills/expectations include: Excellent communication skills. Effective telephone skills a must.
- Organization skills/expectations include: Attention to detail necessary.
- Persistence and perseverance a must.
Willing to train. Knowledge of aspects of nursing home insurance billing and collection and insurance company "Explanation of Benefits” a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
