Seeking a professional with medical office experience and a dynamic personality to join our Green Brook location as Office Coordinator / Medical Assistant. Candidate must be passionate about helping others, dependable, and interested in professional growth and development.

Position Overview
The Office Coordinator / Medical Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Director. The environment is fast-paced, and the position is multifaceted. The Director will assign additional projects and tasks.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist with all administrative duties including, but not limited to, answering telephones, scheduling patients, and filing medical records
- Uses the EMR to check in/out all patient visits.
- Conduct follow up calls to patients to discuss the patient’s progress and address any concerns
- Refer non-routine, sensitive and/or complex requests for information and other inquiries or complaints to the appropriate staff member.
- Ensure that each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every patient, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service.
- Process accounts receivable transactions.
- Accurately and securely maintain all financials for services rendered and products sold.
- Verify Insurance Coverage
- Responsible for verifying the accuracy of the daily receipts and developing a “daily batch”
- Assist with daily monitoring of inventory levels of all clinical and office supplies and Product Inventory
- Scan, Upload, Manage medical records
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Obtains patient's Body Composition Analysis, vitals, EKG, Phlebotomy
- Administers IM injections
- Prepares laboratory order forms
- Obtains patient laboratory results
- Documents patient progress notes in the patient chart and/or EMR
Requirements
- Must have experience working in a Medical, Dental, Physical Therapy, Chiropractic or similar office.
- Medical Assistant experience a plus
- Must be able to work on site in Green Brook Wednesdays 2:00 PM -7:00 PM, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Additional hours working remotely available.
- Experience with EMR, Scheduling, or CRM systems a plus

- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to work with as part of the clinic team and corporate structure
- Must be able to lift and carry 25+ pounds and sit for long periods of time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
