Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant needed for a growing family medical practice in Wasilla. We are a multi-disciplinary clinic with full spectrum family medicine, and pain intervention specialists.

We are seeking a reliable, highly motivated, well-organized receptionist or medical assistant who would like to learn and grow in the field. We cross-train our assistants to work both front and back office. We are willing to train an inexperienced person with the right personal and character qualities. Your high quality character is your most important asset. Must be an organized person who can multi-task, communicate well, and advocate for our patients. You must be detail oriented, highly dependable, honest, and have a positive, professional attitude.

Duties: You will be a valued representative for our practice, the face and voice of our front office! You will check in patients and accurately enter information into the health record. You will schedule patients for appointments, answer phone calls, collect payments, and produce records. Your schedule will be a great benefit, working 4 ten hour shifts with 3-day weekends! Our outgoing receptionist will personally train you and continue to work with you part time.

Medical assistants will be trained to run the back office. You will room patients, take vital signs, assist in procedures, run lab tests, call patients with test results, and work directly with medical providers. If you don't know phlebotomy, you will be trained and get up to 500 blood draws your first year.
