Metal QA Inspector

Location: Morgan Hill, CA

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work according to all safety, quality, and company rules.
• Read and interpret specifications and engineering prints.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections according to the company quality assurance specifications and customer requirements.
• Proficient in setting up and running parts on CMMs
• Proven knowledge of GD&T.
• Document clearly non-conformities (NCR) in MRP and other software tools.
• Report and document inspection findings and results.
• Participate and assist on implementation of corrective actions.
• File quality records for traceability.
• Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
• Collaborate with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions.
• Communicate with manufacturing engineers to make sure drawing and documentation are clear and in compliance with the requirements.
• Conduct various measurements and quality checks on finished products.
• Insure that all products have been inspected and fall within standards, measured to specifications and within tolerances.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in quality inspection of precision parts
• Familiar with semiconductor grade part manufacturing-

Physical Demands:

• Extended periods of sitting, walking, computer work, talking on the phone, and conversing with various people in many ways.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
