In need of Millwright/Welder in the Lincoln Area to start ASAP!!! Anything over 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday, is overtime and anything on the weekends is overtime. This position requires some travel to the followings cities; Anniston, Oxford, Bessemer, and Thorsby areas.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE!!!

Job Purpose: Supports plant operations by installing, moving, and dismantling equipment. Installs equipment by setting foundations; assembling and attaching components and parts; establishing power connections. Dismantles and moves equipment by dissembling components and parts; disconnecting power; securing equipment for moving; crafting components and parts for shipping. Keeps hand tools and equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

REQUIREMENTS:

*MUST BE WILLING TO WORK WEEKENDS

*MUST HAVE 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE AND BE ABLE TO SHOW EXPERIENCE ON RESUME.

*MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL. (NO OUT OF STATE TRAVEL REQUIRED)

*MUST HAVE GOOD MECHANICAL APTITUDE.

*ABILITY TO READ/UNDERSTAND DRAWINGS/SCHEMATICS.

*MUST HAVE UNDERSTANDING OF MEASURING EQUIPMENT.

*MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF CUTTING & WELDING.

*BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF MANUAL LATHES AND MILLS.

*KNOWLEDGE OF HYDRAULIC & PNEUMATIC SYSTEMS.

*KNOWLEDGE OF PIPE FITTING.

*KNOWLEDGE OF CARPENTRY.

*BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS.

*BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF PAINTING.

*MUST BE RELIABLE AND HAVE STRONG WORKING HABITS. PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
