Role + Responsibilities

Endress+Hauser’s MIV (main instrumentation vendor) program was created with the vision of bringing Endress+Hauser’s unique expertise around instrumentation and project lifecycles to create value and provide a world-class experience for our clients. The MIV program accomplishes through reducing the number of client touch points, promoting project consistency, increasing visibility on project progress, and quickly pivoting to meet our client’s need during project execution. We aim not just to execute but drive the client’s project schedule and reduce nonconformances that could delay startup of their projects.

• Examines incoming shipments to verify receipt of items against packing slip.
• Evaluate items for any physical damage during transit and create a nonconformance for any items identified with damage.
• Record receipt of goods in the system and adhere warehouse sticker to item.
• Assign and record a storage location for the items and perform consolidation and relocation of the items into the storage location.
• Enters various data into and/or out from established warehouse information systems.
• Pulls items staged as “ready for shipment” from the rest of the warehouse team and performs consolidation and packing of items in accordance with any pre-set priorities.
• Compares identifying information of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, pick lists, or other records.
• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
• Processes nightly closing of shipping systems.
• Operates hand trucks to move shipments from shipping and receiving to their proper departments.

Qualification + Profile

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions, use simple math and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
