In this role, you will serve as the heart of the support system for members and 2nd MD Specialist. Primarily, you will be responsible in assisting member’s and specialist during virtual medical consults, by supporting and troubleshooting any technical issues that would interfere with a member receiving a meaningful consult with one of the elite specialists on our panel.

Location: Houston, TX/Remote

Reports To: Supervisor, Monitors

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for consultation connection & troubleshooting to ensure timely connectivity and the best member and specialist experience possible.
  • Expedited support of inbound inquiries from 2nd.MD members and 2nd.md specialists via live chat, email, phone, or text message.
  • Maintain knowledge of all service tasks/programs, as well as system capabilities.
  • Respond to inquiries from other 2nd.MD departments relating to the Monitor team.
  • Assist other Operations teams as needed, particularly with our sister team, Scheduling.
  • Follow 2nd.MD and facility protocols and procedures.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively navigate multiple internal systems and processes, with the ability to effectively retain information.
  • High level of professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple high priority tasks concurrently with minimal direction.
  • Team player with the capacity to coordinate across departments
  • Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with medical industry (i.e., HIPAA)

  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, and filing cabinets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • This is a full-time position, with a primary schedule of 10:00am CST to 7:00pm CST Mon-Fri.
