We are seeking for a Multi-Family Construction Superintendent for our cleint's Jacksonville market to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of both fire partitions and UL ratings.

The Multi-family Construction Superintendent provides oversight and direction throughout the entire construction process of numerous multi-level and multi-unit homes, with a total portfolio value of $35 million. The Multi-family Construction Superintendent coordinates vendor activities and facilitates all inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite oversight on all aspects of construction projects from planning to implementation to Certificate of Occupancy
• Allocate resources and vendors for assigned projects
• Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
• Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
• Maintain exact standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications by daily walk throughs and photographs
• Understand the project plans/plan sets and specifications prior to any scheduled work performed
• Maintain positive relationships with all clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other employees
• Proactively identify and solve problems

Required Skills and Experience

• A minimum of 2+ years construction experience, preferably multi-level, or multi-unit homes
• 2+ years Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.),BuilderTrend, or other construction software;
• Must be able to travel to the Jobsite(s) assigned daily
• Fire Partition and/or UL Knowledge
• Basic Framing knowledge
• Familiarity with Plan Sets (drainage, grading, and landscaping)

Additional Considerations:

• This role requires daily visits and walk-throughs of all assigned homes, approximately 50% of the work week will be spent in the field. 50% of the work week will be spent completing documentation/meetings.
• Ideal candidates will enjoy a fast-paced environment with exceptional quality standards and will easily create lasting business relationships with local vendors and other trade partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines with an elevated level of integrity and confidentiality required.
• This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday.

Work Environment: Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions

Physical Demands: Must be able to perform extensive standing, driving, walking/moving, and climbing, in and around uncleared job lots, safely move about active construction areas; to lift and carry up to 50lbs. regularly; to manipulate up to 100lbs. with assistance; to transport supplies and materials from vendors/storage and deliver stock and materials to job sites upon request, to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb to reach materials overhead. Far Visual Acuity Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. This is not just the ability to see a person or object, but the ability to recognize features as well. Communicating Verbally/Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly. of properties

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
