Summary

Lipman Family Farms is searching for the right candidate to assist in managing and maintaining national account fresh produce customers and provide support for customer compliance programs and retaining field level relationships.

Core functions

  • Maintain customer compliance programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with distribution centers, customer field staffing and key franchisees and operators
  • Provide support for damage control efforts
  • Assist with attending customer sponsored events

Details of Functions

  • Daily review, resolution and communication of customer credit requests
  • Review and resolution of other customer supply chain required systems including labeling, temperature monitoring and delivery performance
  • Maintain and report as required all other customer compliance programs to include local sales, CIW, product cuttings and audit performance
  • Develop, maintain and communicate tracking and trending reports for key customer performance measurements
  • Maintain regular communication with DCs to include scheduled face to face meetings and regular phone/electronic contact
  • Assist in the resolution of delivery and other noncompliance issues by providing proactive communication throughout the process and insuring final resolution

Other Functions Follow up with restaurants, DCs and brands as needed on individual credits including visiting each when necessary to resolve credits

  • Attend customer sponsored events to include cuttings, audits, conferences, meetings and charitable events
  • Provide feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential new products
  • Provide field support to gather data on fresh cut product performance
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products,
  • New products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Maintain routine reporting of activities
  • Other responsibilities assigned by supervisor

Skills/Qualifications

  • College education
  • 5 years’ experience in related fields; produce industry experience preferred
  • valid driver’s license
