EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
High School Diploma or equivalent
General understanding of Network Platforms and support as well as general understanding of information systems
High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education agency.
PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY :
1. Troubleshoots basic network connectivity issues including wired and fiber testing.

2. Assists Network Team in planning deployment, data collection, and documentation.

3. Provides feedback and knowledge from the field to the Network Team.

4. Completes in a timely and professional manner all helpdesk tickets related to the campus networks.

5. Responsible for regular inventory checks/counts of the Controlled Resources Management System (CRMS).

8. Maintains confidentiality of information.

9. Reports to work on time every day.

10. Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive knowledge of office technology functions including word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software

• Ability to learn and adapt to new software applications and perform a variety of internet related functions

• Valid Texas Driver's License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District
