Overview:

The New Business Support Specialist has an integral role on the team in driving business and contributing to the strategic growth of our Life Insurance business at AAA Northeast. The Support Specialist provides support to a team of Life Specialists; ensuring accuracy and completion of new policies, gathering necessary documents, and tracking of policy status and production. Responsibilities:
  • Review and process life insurance and annuity applications, responsible for ensuring applications meet technical, legal and underwriting guidelines
  • Gather required documents such as policies, physician statements, and related policy information, respond to questions, and verify data regarding policy status
  • Compile and analyze data from multiple sources to determine policy status, provisions, and identify incomplete or missing data. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence
  • Ensure case management efforts assist in resolving policy questions and issues quickly and work toward attaining department and individual sales goals
  • Complete production activity reports, regular reporting of business and performance trends
  • Continually monitor workflows and recommend changes to improve efficiency
  • Prepare and deliver promotional support, training, and sales results materials for meetings and coaching
  • Provide support in all areas of the business, as needed, to achieve production goals
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma
  • 1+years of Life sales, underwriting, and/or new business experience
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages)
  • Strong technical proficiency, Microsoft Office savvy
  • Effectively communicate with others, inside and outside the company, with the ability to respond to questions providing excellent customer service
  • Must reside within the AAA Northeast footprint (RI, MA, CT, NJ, NY, NH)
Salary Range: $48,880 - $55,640
