POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs routine manual labor tasks in maintaining Neshaminy Manor areas and offices of the complex in attractive, clean and sanitary conditions. Works day and evening shifts, some weekends required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General maintenance of grounds and facilities including, but not limited to janitorial work, litter removal and construction projects.
- Performs germicidal cleaning of Neshaminy Manor furniture, miscellaneous equipment, and built-in units in residents' living areas.
- Operates hand and small power tools.
- Assists in repairs, alterations, additions, etc.
- Assists in collecting/sorting soiled linen; folding & delivering clean linen
- May be required to perform additional work that follows prescribed or well-established procedures that can be learned within a reasonable time by training on the job. More detailed instructions as to the nature of their duties will be given to employees at the beginning of work.
- Performs similar or related duties as assigned/required.

- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Must be able to read and write.
- Must be physically fit to perform the above duties with the ability to work for extended periods under hot and humid conditions.
- Must have experience in position or allied experience to be evaluated by Director.
