Job description

Experienced 26ft box truck driver for OTR. Great in communication, professional and respectful. Punctual and ready to adhere to instructions. Do pre-load checks and post-load checks. Drive with no distraction. Flexible individual. Preferred candidate must live in within few miles of Baltimore, Maryland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective transportation of interstate commercial freight across the USA. Candidates must have at least 2 years of truck driving experience and should enjoy working outdoors in all kinds of weather.

Responsibilities:

• Operate ELD equipment accurately.
• Deliver goods to customers on time.
• Ensure that the truck is in good condition via pre-check and post-check.
• Be able to communicate with supervisors, dispatchers, and technicians via radio, telephone, and e-mail.
• Receive written instructions from dispatch before beginning a delivery.
• Upload completed paperwork on each load.
• Drive safely, according to all traffic laws.

Qualifications:

• Valid CDL A or B license
• Valid and current DOT card
• 2 years verifiable Over The Road truck driving experience
• Minimum age 25 years old

Requirements:

• Must have clean driving record
• Must have clean drug test
• Must pass background check
• Must have Smartphone
• Must be able to always keep time and make scheduled deliveries on time
• Must be able to stay on the road about 2 to 3 weeks (required)
• Must be reliable
• Must provide great customer service
• Must be able to service all connected states
• 1099 Contractor weekly pay

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
