Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver
MediPort is a family owned Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) company. We are seeking reliable, courteous, compassionate, and professional individuals for our driver/NEMT positions to serve the county of Riverside. Prior experience working in medical transportation, driving a van, and operating of a gurney and wheelchair is preferable. Additional training will be provided.

We provide Non-Emergency Specialty Transportation to people who require a little extra attention, support, and time to get to and from their appointments within the healthcare system. This is a field where people (employees, management, and patients) are everything, and in recognition of this we are committed to making MediPort a company that all of us are proud of by investing in and growing every member of the team.

We are currently hiring for multiple shifts, applicants should be flexible and able to work a varying schedule Monday through Friday. Currently, looking for employees available to work part time /full time schedules and it is a plus if you are available to take on shifts on the weekends. Important note: This job role is looking for independent contractors, so employees will be paid with a 1099.

We require the following qualifications:

- clean driving record with minimum 3 years driving experience

· Familiar with CA road/freeway systems and GPS systems

· Must have an Apple/Android smartphone

· Upon extension of an offer, applicants must be able to provide a copy of current DMV K4 driving record printout (available online)

· Clean criminal record

· Ability to pass a physical and drug screening (including marijuana)

· Must be reliable and dependable

· Must have a positive, self motivating attitude

Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
