Job description

We seek an Office Administrator to join our corporate office at Gaines Investment Trust.

Your role is to independently support upper management and corporate teams with phone inquiries, various tasks, file management, payroll, and light accounting, and actively build rapport and collaborate with coworkers.

As a work-family member, you will join our fantastic corporate team and report to the Senior Vice President.

What You Will Do:
  • Support the corporate office
  • Payroll
  • Basic accounting
  • Handle phone inquiries
  • Follow up and through on assignments promptly
  • Perform duties within a fast-paced administrative environment
  • Create, verify, and proof documents in various software programs
  • Generate reports
  • Coordinate vendor work and communications
  • Manage and organize electronic files
  • Data entry

What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of administrative experience within a corporate setting, plus the following credentials/skills:

  • Passion for assisting others, punctual and reliable
  • Strong written skills; a great communicator
  • Collaborative nature, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, enthusiasm for taking on new challenges, and take direction from various personnel
  • Attention to detail and demonstrated strengths in maintaining schedules, managing priorities, and meeting goals
  • Computer savvy with experience and demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Share Point. Yardi, CRM, and Adobe Acrobat Forms are a plus.
  • Experience with human resource functions, including but not limited to payroll
  • Able to juggle multiple projects/tasks with various departments while meeting deadlines, producing high-quality work, and projecting a positive/professional attitude.
