Job Title- Technical Office Manager

Position Description-

  • The Office Manager plays a key role in our organization's office communication and productivity.
  • Technical background, task-driven, results-oriented team player that works well independently.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail with excellent written and oral communication skills; able to assist all levels of the organization with professional documentation, proofing, and editing.
  • Strong project management and analytic skills with an ability or organize a dynamic workload.
  • Ability to analyze, prioritize, and solve unique problems independently.
  • Think creatively and passionately about the ways in which we can make every user interaction as meaningful as possible.
  • Contribute to the overall growth and innovation of the company through ideas and participation in collaborative team projects.
  • Contribute to team goals by focusing on self-improvement, self-growth and education. Recognize self-education is often performed afterhours.
  • "Can do" attitude is necessary due to the differing and quickly changing aspects of this position.
  • Provide executive-level project oversight.
  • Technical inclination capable of performing research, preparing estimates for customers, and ordering software and equipment necessary for installation and service of telephones, computers, networking gear, and surveillance equipment, as well as materials assessment for preparation of construction estimates and ordering of materials and organizing subs.
  • Plays a critical role in assuring timely and seamless communication with all members of the team.
  • Equipment and materials research to properly prepare bids, submit to customers, order materials, and manage continuity of the project.
  • Must be timely & dependable professional who has the ability to interface with business executives and contractors, and includes- Professionally represent the company answering the phones, dispatch & manage technicians’ time and subs, perform product and material research, coordinate jobs, prepare customer quotes, order equipment, manage jobs and billing, manage website and social media, pull permits, file documentation for MPC's, perform remote service for basic computer and telephone repairs and programming, prepare annual insurance renewals, keep office neat and tidy, filing, and other typical office manager tasks.

Compensation and Hours-

  • $17.00-$22.00/ hour- Full-time position
  • $80/ month vehicle stipend
  • Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm (leave at 4:00 on Friday)
  • Occasional afterhours work, but rarely.
  • Opportunity for growth in pay and responsibility based on experience and performance.

Experience- is necessary.

  • Extreme proficiency with O365, MS Word, Excel, Teams, Adobe, Quickbooks, and dispatching software is REQUIRED.
  • Applicant must have 4 years of executive assistant experience or office administration and a 4 year bachelor's degree.
  • Applicant needs to have computer repair or telephony experience. Or, be willing to spend the necessary personal time to gain this knowledge, as it is necessary for success.
  • Construction experience is a plus.

Requirements & Necessary Information-

  • Driver’s license and dependable personal vehicle, with insurance is required.
  • Background check will be performed.
  • Drug Screenings are performed randomly.
  • Must live within the tri-county area.
  • Be willing to use personal vehicle for company errands.

NOTE: We are looking for a true professional who is looking to invest themselves in a company to enjoy the satisfaction of seeing their efforts make a real difference. This is a long-term, fulltime, position and requires near perfect attendance to be affective.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
