TriValley Crop Center is looking for a person with a positive attitude and work ethic to work the front desk of our office located in Sprakers, NY. They will be working directly with the public by answering phones and walk-ins. This job includes assisting customers from the office, as well as accommodating their needs and orders at the time of pick-up. They will also be a key component in keeping the office in order.

Position requirements:

• GED or High School Diploma
• Have a good attitude and work ethic
• Have a flexible work schedule
• Be able to work longer hours in the spring/summer
• Be able to use basic computer technology (word, excel, PowerPoint, Credit Card Machine)

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Answer the office phone regarding inquiries on customer accounts, payment on accounts, sales, and company products
• Take notes on sale orders on the phone and in person
• Order products not in stock
• Help with product inventory / office inventory - place orders for supplies and crop inputs
• Collect payments
• Organize the office, manage mailings, and file paperwork
