Part-time Online Medical Instructor Job Description

We are currently searching for a Part Time Online Medical Instructor driven by the success of student achievements. It is the philosophy of Central Coast College to provide a unique educational path for students that will lead to successful job performance and job satisfaction in the health care industry.

Preferred qualified candidates should have the ability to:

• Present well prepared facilitative classroom lectures and activities consistent with the course syllabus.
• Facilitate student success in meeting or surpassing course objectives contained in the syllabus.
• Promote the development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem solving and decision-making.
• Continually evaluate student preparation and assessments.
• Provide students with timely academic information and feedback.
• Assist management with driving retention rates.
• Complete associated administrative functions within established time frames
• Maintain professional integrity

Job Requirements

• Medical Assistant with at least two (3) years’ experience in the medical field (ACCET)

• Experience with EKGs, Phlebotomy, Medical Terminology, all Patient Vitals, Patient Chart, Vein puncture/Injections and all medical clinical skills
• Prior adult instructional experience is preferred, but not required

• Front and Back medical office skills
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Excellent communication skills
• Consistently display the highest levels of integrity

Job Type: Part-time

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Required)
• Medical terminology: 1 year (Required)
• Curriculum development: 1 year (Preferred)
• Higher education teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
