Job Summary: Maintains the tidiness and fluidity on the production floor, warehouse and maintenance shop, ensuring a safe and organized working environment.
Essential Functions:

• Understand and comply with all company safety policies and procedures and utilize all necessary safety equipment
• Ensures the production floor is clear of all hazards and dangerous conditions
• Understand and comply with the company’s Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008)
• Keeps the production area and equipment tidy and organized through sweeping, mopping, picking up debris and neatly stacking supplies.
• Keeps the maintenance shop neatly organized, making sure tools/supplies are accessible
• Ensures finished goods are put away in an organized fashion
• Able to utilize electric/hand jack or forklift
• Ensure raw materials are organized at all times
• Recommend, as appropriate, changes that could improve the quality of the workflow
• Be prepared to work overtime as needed
• Perform all other activities as requested by management

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Works well independently and recognizes when work is to be done without being told
• Experience in various material handling
• High school diploma/GED
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail

Working Conditions:

• Standing for 8 hour shifts
• Heavy lifting up to 60 pounds
