Job description
Primary responsibility will be directly assisting in patient care with our doctors, by gathering patient history, conducting visual acuity screenings, and performing various technical procedures. The Technician is responsible for clinical activities to ensure a patient is accurately prepared and ready for the Physician. This role is accountable for providing a positive patient experience, ensuring accuracy of data, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for equipment and instruments.
Additional tasks include placing referrals, calling in prescriptions and coordinating follow-up patient care, and potential for medical scribing as well. Any eye care or medical care experience a plus, but will train the right person. Pay commensurate with experience. Full time hours are 32 hours a week 8:30-5:30 Monday-Thursday or flexible part time hours.
