We are seeking a person to join our Fulfillment Team and assist with picking/preparing materials while providing excellent customer service. We require no previous experience in the metals industry; just people who are passionate and ready to learn new skills. SCHEDULE: Tuesday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm

PAY: 18+/hour, commensurate with experience

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet each customer and assist by answering questions, providing guidance, and establishing rapport
• Locate, pull, and prepare metal materials as indicated on pick lists
• Ensure quality control by verifying piece counts, material grades, and dimensions
• Operate saws, torches, and other equipment to process material to customer specifications
• Operate and drive forklifts and control movements of the lifting apparatus
• Load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, trucks, and customer vehicles
• Stock inventory ensuring proper locations and piece counts
• Follow Coremark Metals safety policies and procedures

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Ability to multi-task, be attentive, and flexible
• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of supervisor
• Strong understanding of measuring devices such as calipers, tape measures, and scales
• Ability to maneuver and manipulate materials both manually and with the use of overhead crane by bending, twisting, reaching overhead, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 75lbs. occasionally

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Aptitude in industrial machinery and equipment
• Forklift experience

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
