Job description

Provides administrative support for the outreach functions of the ADRC.
Updates website, digital sign and social media sites. Drafts news releases and articles.
Creates brochures and other informational products that describe and promote the services provided by the ADRC. Assists in the creation of materials used in community educational events.
Develops, plans, and coordinates recruitment efforts for ADRC volunteers. Screens and evaluates volunteer applicants and matches volunteers with activities that match the prospective volunteer's skills and interests.
Assists in the development and coordination of community events. Organizes and schedules local radio show spots. Develops content for weekly radio recording and records the information with the radio stations.
This is a sedentary position that involves fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, near/far vision, repetitive motions, and sitting most of the time. Standing and walking are required occasionally. Lifting and/or carrying 10 pounds required occasionally.
This position works inside in a normal office environment.
A high school diploma or equivalent and whatever combination of education and work experience provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position. A valid Wisconsin driver's license is also required.
