Wege Pretzel Company in Hanover, PA is seeking 3rd shift Packers. This positions provides stable, year-round work. Don't have experience? No worries, will provide the training. Packers are responsible for placing finished product into boxes and stacking on a skid.

Responsibilities:

• Form boxes for packaging
• Accurately place product in boxes for shipment to customers
• Acquire information from Supervisor on products being run for the day
• Check rotation schedule for work location within the plant
• Pack bags in box in accordance with production schedule at standard speed
• Ascertain box labels, sticker boxes, and then erect them in accordance with schedule
• Check bags for end seal and back seal integrity, correct date codes, correct film, correct box and case pack and air fill
• Tear open damaged bags for product, reuse, and dispose of old empty film properly
• Clean and sweep work area or assist other packers or boxmakers as needed
• Check correctness of weights on bags
• Keep work area neat, clean, and orderly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• No previous experience required
• Must be able to maintain good attendance
• Must be able to stand for the majority of the shift
• Must be able to work in fluctuations of environmental temperatures

• Hanover, PA 17331: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Packaging: 1 year (Preferred)
• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• Order picking: 1 year (Preferred)
