Out of the Blue Skydiving is the perfect place for you! We are a mid-sized skydiving company located in Limon, CO with a focus on safety and community.

We are looking to hire and train parachute packers for the end of our season. What is parachute packing? The process of packing a parachute refers to folding the parachute material and the lines back into the parachute container. However, all parachutes are not the same. Every skydiving system used in civilian jump operations features a dual-parachute system. Applicants with no packing experience will still be considered, as we will provide all necessary training and supervision to safely complete parachute pack jobs.

Packers are responsible for all on-site pack jobs during operating hours, with emphasis on tandem and student rigs. Packers are also responsible for holding occasional packing classes to teach new students. Our operating hours are Saturdays and Sundays, from 9:00am until sunset, and our season typically runs until mid-November.

Compensation is $10 - $15 per pack job, plus occasional tips. Applicants are also entitled to extra compensation if they pick up extra work and assist staff with cleaning and setting up the facility both before and after jumping is finished for the day.

Position will require computer and phone skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants must be over the age of 16 and able to legally work in the US.

Work hours include weekends and some Holidays.
