The Role

We are looking for a Paralegal to join our in-house legal team. The ideal candidate will be well versed in a wide range of corporate legal practice areas and should have the ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced, rapidly changing startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and tracking for commercial contract intake
• Provide administrative support to the General Counsel
• Assist with implementing and maintaining an intake and response process, internal filing, and organizational system for the legal team
• Manage outside counsel billing system
• Onboard and manage contract management software
• Manage data rooms in connection with due diligence
• Ability to handle privileged, confidential, and sensitive information in an appropriate and professional manner
• Review and draft routine legal documents to ensure consistency and correct formatting

Attributes required for success in the role

• 4+ years of experience in big firm and in house legal work
• Knowledge of legal terminology and ability to explain requests to internal/external stakeholders
• Adept at interacting calmly, patiently, and professionally in challenging situations
• Highly skilled in written and verbal communication
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through is a priority
• Google Workspace (f/k/a G Suite) experience a plus
• Legal Tracker experience a plus
• Experience with data room software a plus
• SEC filing experience a plus

About You

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Paralegal Certificate or Certified Notary (Not required, but a big plus!)
• Located in Boise, ID or willing to relocate within one month of start date
