Job description

This posting is for a Paramedic or EMT working for a private practice. This position will regularly be scheduled at two local clinics (Livonia and Warren) as well as (less frequently) at two local ambulatory surgical centers (Westland and Warren). This position supports our Pain Specialists during infusion clinics and as providing clerical support for our clinical locations for the remainder of the 40-hour work week.

• The Paramedic or EMT is the primary medical professional responsible for monitoring patients during infusion clinics.

• The Paramedic or EMT will regularly perform some administrative duties in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Re-evaluates patient needs through physical reassessment, response to therapy, and supplemental physician orders;

• Obtains and clarifies physician orders for plan of treatment revisions, informs physician promptly of significant changes in patient's condition, and provides summary to physician;
• Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care;
• Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes.

• Familiarity with medical software and equipment
• Ability to build rapport with patients, providers, and others
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
