PRN
and
Full Time

We’re currently looking for a Full Time Paramedic who is responsible for providing pre-hospital emergency care. Our medics perform activities and functions according to MN State Department of Health rules and regulations, and TCHC policy and procedures, all while supporting the mission of TCHC.
Hours/Schedule:
- Full time: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- PRN: as needed

Responsibilities of a Paramedic include, but are not limited to:
- Responding to incident scenes and conduct care as required
- On scene patient care of our service areas, which include Bertha, Henning, Ottertail, Sebeka, Verndale, and Wadena
- Patient care while in transport
- Utilizations of established protocols to begin emergency medical care and verbalize physician orders
- Performing secondary assessment of non-life-threatening injury/event
- Determining the need for ALS procedures
- Observing, reporting, documenting subjective/objective data
- Initiating and/or assisting with Basic Cardiac Life Support or ACLS
Education and Experience:
- Must have an active Paramedic license in the State of Minnesota
- Must have current ACLS certification
- Basic Trauma Life Support, CPR Instructor (AHA standards), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support a plus, but not required
