We are looking for reliable, dependable, Security Officers.

Shift: Friday/Saturday/Sunday

6am - 6pm

6pm - 6am

The Security officer for these positions must be willing to work in a construction site atmosphere as assigned. The option of becoming full-time is available to all reliable applicants once they become available.

The ideal candidate is a team player who possesses a high level of observation, and self-confidence, willing to work within a diverse community. The goal is to maintain excellent working conditions by keeping our facilities safe, secure, and problem-free for all our clients and their customers.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence
• Operate ATV
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property
• Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of operations
• Login authorized vendors/workers
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
• Provide assistance to people in need
• Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to the legal protocol before the arrival of authorities (per company policy) Issue trespass warnings when appropriate.
• Partner with local Law enforcement.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

Skills

• Proven experience as a security officer
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Tech-savvy with smartphones and apps
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense (not required but preferred)
• Class D Licensed - (if not licensed we are willing to sponsor a limited number of well qualified/reliable candidates)
• A High School diploma or GED is required

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Officers may be required to wear facial coverings when working inside our facilities. They are not required when outdoors.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ocoee, FL 34761: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Class D Security (Required)
