Pratt Institute's Learning/Access Center (L/AC) seeks a temporary Administrative Specialist who will assist with all processes related to learning support, including assisting the Associate Director in all logistics of the management of tutoring and workshop programming, including processing tutoring hours. The position requires a high degree of confidentiality and discretion. Applicants should be adept at promoting a positive environment for diversity and inclusion.
This position is expected to work up to 20 hours per week, at the rate of pay of $24/hr. This position is hybrid (in-person and remote).
On a typical day you will :
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree required; Bachelors degree preferred.
Experience: Two years of experience working with college student populations. Preference will be given to candidates with documented experience working with students with disabilities, English Language Learners, diverse and at-risk populations.

- Coordinates processes for learning support services, such as managing paperwork and processing hours/time sheets of part-time tutors, and scheduling appointments
- Participates in assessment and tracking processes for the department
- Assists with monitoring, tracking and follow-up of students through the Institute's retention software (Starfish)
- Assists with identifying and mapping out support services available in various offices across campus
- Coordinates processes for tracking students enrolled with the learning/access center, including management of student data in colleague and internal rosters
- Other data entry and processing of student records
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree required; Bachelors degree preferred.
