Job description
The Patient Care Coordinator is the first contact with prospective patients, turning prospective patients into long-term patients (co-learners) and partners in health. This position is of critical importance to the mission of the Riordan Clinic.
Position details:
- Takes incoming calls, emails, and social media inquiries; reaches out to prospective new patients to answer questions and gain commitment to schedule new patient appointments
- Follows up with patients that don’t book appointments on their initial call to advance the opportunity
- Confirms all new patient appointments
- Follows up after the appointment to gather feedback about the patient’s experience
- Works with customized care plans that are generated by the medical staff for new patients, and facilitates scheduling of appointments, lab work, clinic services, etc.
- Educates new patients on processes, schedules, estimated costs, etc.
- Establishes relationships with new and prospective patients
- Creates new patient accounts in the CRM and tracks all patient activity in the CRM

Clinic details:
- Progressive, not-for-profit, functional health clinic that is internationally known for work with intravenous vitamin C treatments and research
- Facility provides services for 3,500 patients annually. Additionally, the clinic provides nutrient testing, IV nutrition, high dose intravenous Vitamin C, infrared breast thermography, ultraviolet blood irradiation, chelation therapy, and many other innovative therapies
Requirements:
- Associates degree
- One to three years of customer service experience
- One to three years of sales experience (inside or outside) is preferred
- Interest in health and wellness or holistic medicine is preferred
- Excellent telephone and email etiquette
